Standard Pallets

Pallets are used in freight shipping to protect your goods. Also for carriers, pallet shipping makes freight handling more efficient and helps maximize trailer space. While they can be custom made, there are some pallet sizes considered stan-dard within the freight shipping industry.

Open and closed wooden crates

A crate is a large shipping container, made of wood, typically used to transport large, heavy items. There are many variations of wooden crate designs. The most common are closed and open. An open crate has a self-supporting structure without sheathing. A closed crate is one that is completely or nearly completely enclosed with material such as plywood or lumber boards.

Steel pallets

(heavy-duty steel construction)

Hoses are could be packed for storage and transportation on steel framed pallets. Each pallet has six support legs to allow safe stacking to a height of three pallets. Upon customer’s request, we shall make the special steel framed pallets which allow us to load into 40 feet container.

Loose / strapped packing

This method of shipping is most economical for large quantity of hose assem-blies which can be shipped without packaging and no reloading required be-tween our factory and final destination.

Hoses packed in curtain sided trailer or open top shipping container secured on the floor with straps. Usually hoses shipped in curtain sided trailer can be loaded and unloaded from side with either 2 standard forklifts or one forklift with wide forks. Hoses packed in open top shipping container, most of the time, should be loaded or unloaded with crane from the top. Loading or unloading using back door is not recommended, but possible with extra care.
